About

Welcome to the Yorkshire Wildlife Guide

I’m Paul Ashton, a wildlife photographer based in the East Riding of Yorkshire, photographing the amazing diversity of fauna to be found within the county. Being out in nature, at spectacular locations like the seabird colony at Bempton Cliffs; the remote migrant hot spot of Spurn Point; or local nature reserves, such as North Cave Wetlands is a pure pleasure, photography only enhancing these experiences further. I cover all aspects of wildlife photography, from the large mammals, right down to the small invertebrates to be found, which most people will often overlook.

If you would like to find out more about the wide diversity of wildlife to be found in Yorkshire, then check out the Species Galleries to see images of some of the amazing wildlife found in Yorkshire.
